Andrew Wilkinson in conversation, hosted by Karen Kler, Director of Operations at Tiny. Wilkinson taught himself web design in Victoria in 2006, founded the design agency MetaLab, whose client list has included Slack, Google, Uber and Coinbase, and went on to co-found Tiny, the holding company that acquired MetaLab in 2017. He is Tiny's Executive Chair. The session sits on the closing day of Victoria Tech Week 2026. No venue has been published yet, so watch the Luma listing for the address.
Anu's Take
In 2006 Wilkinson was pulling espresso in this city for six dollars an hour and teaching himself web design between shifts. He is now Executive Chair of the holding company that owns the agency he built out of that. The listing is one line with no venue attached, which is either confidence or a to-do, and the arc is worth the hour regardless.
