North House opens its Victoria space with a panel, then moves up to the roof for sunset over downtown and stays there late. The lineup is still under wraps, billed as some of the biggest names in Victoria tech. The other draw is the space itself. The Vancouver room is an 8,000 square foot founders' workspace in Mount Pleasant, and this is the Victoria equivalent, so the opening doubles as the first look inside.
Anu's Take
Read the run sheet before deciding what this is. One hour of panel, then the roof until late, so it is a party with a panel attached rather than the other way round. That suits a launch better than a programme would, and it leaves time to actually look at the place. Put the Jiffy Pop on the fire.
