Twenty years on from the first one, this is still the gathering where the Island economy turns up all at once. It opens with a reception and dinner. Two full conference days follow, with a trade show alongside. The programme runs to four keynotes, twelve concurrent sessions and four fireside chats. More than 600 delegates come from business, government, academia and community organisations. The Summit app shows who is attending, so you can book time with them in the delegate lounge.
Anu's Take
Almost everything on the Where's Anu calendar happens in Victoria, which is its own kind of blind spot. The Island economy does not just run through Victoria, and the clue is in the name. For three days a year the rest of it shows up wearing name badges. That is worth the drive north on its own.
