Western Canada's Microsoft 365 Summit returns for its second edition, a full day of keynotes, breakout sessions and panels built around AI, Copilot and the Microsoft 365 platform. The programme runs three parallel tracks: Security, Compliance and Cloud; Modern Work, AI and Automation; and Business Applications and Innovation, with more than twenty speakers drawn from Microsoft, the MVP community and local partners. It is aimed at IT leaders, business decision-makers, and the Microsoft partners and vendors who build on the stack. Two optional add-ons bookend the main day, sold together as one separate VIP ticket: • Welcome Networking Dinner, the evening before, on Tuesday, September 2. • Post-Event Executive Breakfast, the morning after, on Friday, September 4.
Anu's Take
A full day of Microsoft 365, Copilot and AI sessions across three tracks. Last year's debut sold out and I'd expect this one to as well. The quiet reminder underneath all of it: most of the Copilot features on stage are already sitting inside licences people pay for every month and have never opened. A summit like this earns its keep if the room goes home and finally turns the thing on.

If the Copilot sessions land for you, here is the other half of the story from my own workshops: most teams have never opened the AI they already pay for.
