A day of health technology research out of UVic's Biomedical Engineering Program. A keynote opens it. Then talks from academics and industry, and a round of short student talks judged for awards at the close. The afternoon adds a career panel, and a tradeshow of industry, community and campus partners runs through the day. Students have until October 25 to submit an abstract for a talk slot. Parking on campus is paid only.
Anu's Take
The bill runs academic talks, an industry talk and a round of short student talks, which is a wider spread than most research days attempt. The student slots tend to be the interesting ones. Work still in progress gets described more plainly than work that has been finished and packaged.

Almost everything on that bill will have come up through a lab, and the health technology I ended up working on did not: a platform for the people sitting in an ER waiting room.
