An unstructured Sunday walk for the local tech community. No talks, no agenda, nobody presenting. This week climbs to Jocelyn Hill, roughly eight kilometres with about 380 metres of climbing, with steep sections. The route passes Holmes Peak and opens out across Saanich Inlet and the Malahat before the final pull to the summit. It is community-organised rather than guided, with no leader and no outdoor programme, so bring water, layers, and shoes you do not mind wrecking. Reckon on 25 minutes of driving from downtown, and watch the community Discord for route or weather changes beforehand. Check the event page for the exact meeting point and to register.
Anu's Take
Five kilometres in week one, eight in week two, and Nick's own difficulty note has quietly acquired the phrase 'steep sections'. Either the series is finding its level or it is finding out who is still free on Sundays.
