Faculty, staff, current students and alumni will all be on hand, with student projects on show, tours of the facilities and short sample lectures. The practical questions get covered too: programs, career paths, co-op and admissions. In-person space is limited, and if it fills, the waitlist is also invited to a virtual open house.

Worth forwarding to any student you know with an eye on health tech. UVic started Canada's first health informatics program in 1981, so this is not a school still working out what it is. An evening in the building will tell a would-be applicant more than the brochure does.
