A no-agenda social for people who work with data, from career practitioners to anyone merely curious about the field. The organisers are explicit: nothing is prepared, nobody presents, and nothing is expected of you. Arrive when you can, order something, and talk to whoever is in the room. It lands in the middle of autumn conference season, when most of what is on locally wants you to arrive with something ready. This one does not, which is the whole point of it.

Anu's Take

Data & Beer has left the brewery. Phillips in September, a bistro inside a billiards hall on Douglas this time, and a shorter walk from most desks at five o'clock. It lands the day after TEDxVictoria, so the room should arrive still chewing over somebody else's ideas, with no agenda here to compete.
