Presented by VIATEC
Host: Robert Cooper
At this VIATEC AI Meetup Technology Track session, Calum Bird of Trelent traces how AI prompting has evolved over the past seven years. The query that extracted useful results from GPT-2 in 2019 looks nothing like what gets work done by GPT-5 today, and the meaning of a useful result has shifted along with it. The talk shows how effective prompting techniques changed in lockstep with the models themselves, helping participants build durable skills grounded in how these systems actually work. Bird's experience in AI dates back to 2019: he founded Trelent, whose AI tools are used by over 100,000 people, and has led technical diligence on roughly $4 billion in AI mergers and acquisitions.
