Two talks, 45 minutes each with questions after. DovLev Lehrer of Fernwood Agentic on AI governance and safety, then Victoria Data Society President Cynthia Lynam on why the question still decides the answer. The talks are proposed and prepared by the people giving them, drawn from work they have actually done rather than a curriculum. Anyone can come, though the fifty seats are approved rather than automatic.

Good to see Cynthia Lynam on LinkedIn on the agenda. The argument that AI made answers cheap and did nothing much for the questions is easy to nod along to and much harder to practise, which is what makes it worth an hour. Fernwood Agentic takes the other half, back for a second month running.
