Tech Wednesdays is a weekly night for people who build things, and this is the first one in Victoria. There are no panels and no keynotes. People show up, say hello, talk about what they are working on, and come back the next Wednesday. The network's flagship night already runs every Wednesday in Edmonton. Vancouver and San Francisco open on the same evening as Victoria, and more Canadian cities are launching soon. Muhammad Aarij is Victoria's founding host. The listing says the time and place are still to follow, so check it before you head out.

Who's in the room: Developers, founders, designers, students and the tech-curious from around Victoria.

Anu's Take

Wednesdays have historically been a little light on the Victoria tech calendar, so it'll be nice to have a regular Wednesday option. Looking forward to seeing how this new local event from a national organization evolves. Knowing who's leading the local charge bodes well for its future.
