Presented by PMBA Conferences
A four-day conference for project managers and business analysts at the Sutton Place Hotel in downtown Vancouver, built as two symposium days of keynotes and concurrent sessions plus two days of full-day hands-on workshops. Passes are sold by the day, so the symposium, the workshops, or a combination are all separate options. Sessions earn PDUs and CDUs toward PMI and IIBA certification renewal, and registration includes breakfast, snack breaks and lunch. The 2026 advisory board is drawn from BC organizations including Translink, WorkSafe BC, BC Pension Corporation, BCIT, UBC Sauder, UVic's Gustavson School of Business, Lululemon and Intact Financial. Keynotes, speakers and the session program are posted on the conference site as they are confirmed.
Anu's Take
The conference site ships a customizable justification letter you can send your manager, which tells you exactly who this is built for. The advisory board says the rest: Translink, WorkSafe BC, BC Pension Corporation, BCIT, Lululemon, Intact. This is enterprise and public sector project work, where the horizon is a fiscal year and nothing gets attended without an approval chain. Not the crowd you find at a free meetup, which is the whole argument for it.
