A working conference for women who already run an established business and want the profit side of it to work harder. The day is built so you spend it working on your own numbers, rather than filling in a notebook. Sessions cover pricing, operations, legal structure and financial decisions, with guided networking between them. Victoria Westcott's session breaks down the three decisions she says took Oak Bay Clean to $760,000 in recurring annual revenue: publishing prices openly, packaging the service as a subscription, and paying above market. Caroline Deane covers the structural gaps that quietly create risk, from entity choice to succession. The closing hour turns the day into a 90-day plan, and the room is capped at 100.
Who's in the room: Established women business owners, mostly from Vancouver Island, in a room capped at 100.
Anu's Take
The session that earns the day is the closing one, sorting $10 tasks from $1,000 decisions. Everyone can already tell which is which, and we all still do the $10 one first because it can be finished before lunch. A Friday booked out to make a couple of the expensive calls instead, with your own numbers in front of you, is the hardest thing on any owner's calendar to justify and usually the only thing that moves.

This day works the revenue half of margin, which is the half that takes nerve. The other half is duller and I keep finding it in the same place: subscriptions nobody has re-read in three years.
