OpenHack Victoria is a weekly gathering where people meet on Tuesday nights at 6pm at the James Joyce Bistro inside Peacock Billiards to hang out and write code. Introductions happen at 6:15pm sharp, and attendees bring their own laptops to work on anything they choose, from open-source and closed-source projects to side projects, work, or play. All experience levels and technologies are welcome. Food and drinks can be bought from the restaurant but are not provided, and the group follows a code of conduct. Jared Norman is the current organizer, and the event is sponsored by Super Good.
Anu's Take
Good old OG fun. And they meet Wednesday's in the Cowichan Valley. Come and talk to myself or Shane about the VIATEC Software Leadership Roundtable. You may just be able to your eyeballs on a Framework laptop at this event.
