Presented by Victoria Data Society

Host: Carolyn

Hosted by the Victoria Data Society, this Data Talks session features Samantha Magnus presenting Designing for Humans. The premise: AI is shortening development time, but faster delivery only helps if you build the right things, since shipping the wrong data products faster will not advance your career. Samantha walks through Data HX, a framework she has been developing that combines design thinking, human-centrism, and data product development, covering the dual starting line for development, how to brainstorm and iterate, principles of information architecture, and human-centred testing techniques. The evening opens with registration, networking, and pizza, and closes with more networking. It is free for VDS members, with a $10 cover for non-members.
