Four to six people working in technology and computer science careers talk about what they actually do, how they got started, and the routes they took to get there. The organisers list computers, AI, cybersecurity, online gaming and system administration among the fields on the table, and say the panellists will be named closer to the date. No particular background, education or previous experience is expected. The organisers name post-secondary students weighing their options, people considering a career change, and the simply curious, and say students, prospective students, alumni and community members are all welcome. There is time set aside for questions. The panel is followed by time to network with the industry professionals in the dedicated Career Centre space, room 205 on the second floor. Registration is RSVP only, capacity is 40, and a waitlist opens once it fills.

Two schools whose business is credentials are hosting a panel you can walk into with none. The invitation is unusually plain about it: no background, no education, no previous experience, just an interest in where the work might go. The panellists are still unnamed, which for a forty-seat room is either confidence or a booking in progress.
