This year's holiday social is the 2nd anniversary of when Samantha Magnus on LinkedIn introduced me to the Victoria Data Society, at literally the second in-person event I ever went to in Victoria, after OpenHack Victoria. Today we sit on the board together, and what a wild ride it's been. So if you're new to Victoria or new to the scene, come to this one. Here's to 2027 where we're increasing our event cadence and VDS is expected to be involved with upwards of 40 events, from our traditional and very popular Data & Beer meetups to multi-day events that will move the needle on your AI and data knowledge and hopefully your career.
