An unstructured Sunday walk for the local tech community. No talks, no agenda, nobody presenting. This week follows the East Sooke coast trail to Beechey Head, eight kilometres return with 250 metres of climbing. It follows the coast the whole way, rolling over roots, rocks and uneven ground, with petroglyphs at Alldridge Point. It is community-organised rather than guided, with no leader and no outdoor programme, so bring water, layers, and shoes you do not mind wrecking. Reckon on 45 minutes of driving from downtown, and watch the community Discord for route or weather changes beforehand. Check the event page for the exact meeting point and to register.
