The VIATEC Awards bring Greater Victoria's tech community together to connect, celebrate, and spotlight the year's most notable tech companies and individuals within the region's $5.9 billion tech sector. Known for its elaborate and playful production, the 2026 edition runs under a Western Neon theme at Carson Hall in the Victoria Conference Centre. The evening opens with networking, seating, and a welcome from 5 to 6pm, followed by a creative challenge and dinner, the awards show at 7pm, and an after party from 9 to 11pm. VIATEC, Victoria's tech industry association, has produced the gala for more than 24 years.
