No expertise required, nothing to prepare, and no need to arrive with a project. Expect working developers, IT people, founders, makers and the plainly curious, in a room capped at forty. RSVP if you can. Kyle describes it as an informal evening with no formal agenda, interesting people talking about interesting things. The floor is open to software, hardware, AI, infrastructure and cybersecurity, alongside ideas, projects, lessons learned and the things that didn't quite work. Bring something you are building, a problem you are stuck on, or nothing at all. Head for the top floor. Refreshments are on, and since nothing is scheduled, turning up late or leaving early costs you nothing.
Anu's Take
BSidesVI is nineteen days before this one, so October is when the debriefs land. The listing already expects lessons learned and things that didn't quite work, which is the half of any conference nobody submits as a talk. Looking forward to that, among other things.
