OpenHack Cowichan Valley is a casual tech meetup in Duncan, held on the top floor of Craig Street Brew Pub. The evening is built around catching up and trading ideas, with conversations ranging across software, AI, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and hardware, plus light refreshments and good company. Local developers, IT professionals, entrepreneurs, makers, and students are all welcome, whether they have been to every meetup or this is their first. The format is relaxed: bring a laptop, bring a notebook, or just show up and share whatever you have been working on lately. OpenHack Cowichan Valley is part of the wider OpenHack Victoria community, runs on a published code of conduct, and is free to attend with an RSVP.
Anu's Take
First-time visitor, long-time watcher. I've been showing up to OpenHack Victoria for a while, and I've been meaning to make the run up to Duncan for the Cowichan edition. Weather's good, so this one's a two-wheel trip. Shiny side up.
