It runs through organisation screening and its named forms, how sponsorship starts the process, when personnel clearances begin, and what triggers Controlled Goods registration. Worth sitting through before you have a bid in front of you, because none of it can be started at the last minute.

'Typical timelines' is carrying a lot of weight on this agenda, and Ottawa publishes the real numbers. A complex reliability screening runs 120 business days, and a secret clearance adds up to another 120 on top of that. Separately, 123 Defence's own eligibility questionnaire asks whether your leadership will commit a year of time and resources before you begin. Those are the same fact told twice.
