An informal AI salon at theDock exploring how we can intentionally design and use AI to deepen human connection rather than deepen isolation. It gathers people from across social technology, community building, psychology, human-computer interaction, and AI research for a 90-minute Chatham House round-table: a short provocation, open discussion, and shared next actions. A $10 donation toward the space is suggested, and tea and light snacks are provided.

Feels like we optimized for connection and accidentally optimized out the humans. Curious if we can design AI that nudges us back toward each other instead of just making us more efficient at being alone.
